What To Expect
When you first arrive at Polk Street on Sunday morning, Guest Parking is available on the north side of the sanctuary. The main entrances to the church are on the west and northwest sides of the church with an accessible entrance on the west side under the bell tower leading to the elevator. Greeters will welcome you at the doors with a warm smile and a friendly handshake. If needed, you will be shown to our professionally staffed Nursery and to our sanctuary. When you arrive in our sanctuary be prepared to be greeted by new friends who desire to make you feel loved by God. You will be welcomed in any manner of dress as you join us in experiencing a loving and forgiving God.
Our worship services bring a rich traditional heritage to life with beautiful music and an awe-inspiring sanctuary lined with historic stained-glass windows. Our full choir combined with our impressive pipe organ bring life and vitality to tradition-rich worship experiences. But lest you think traditional worship is stuffy you haven’t heard our pastor’s engaging, challenging, and applicable teaching. You will be moved by our deep, touching, and relevant worship at Polk Street.
