Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or educational settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and empathy for diverse learning styles.
- Ability to engage children through creative play while always maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, guardians, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to young children.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Support classroom management by organizing activities, managing behavior, and encouraging positive interactions among children.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with minimum standards.
