Through all stages of life, the church offers a place of worship, fellowship and comfort. The Sunrise Court Columbarium at Polk Street Methodist Church is no exception, serving as a beautiful place of rest, prayer, memorialization and meditation when loved ones enter death in Christ.
Constructed and consecrated in 2020, the Columbarium currently features two free-standing walls of sealed niches designed to hold urns containing cremated remains. Two niche sizes are available, and each niche may contain a maximum of two urns. The granite niche front is inscribed with names and dates, and the location of your niche is chosen at the time of purchase. Meaningful inurnment services may be conducted in the Columbarium, which is located on the east side of our church property facing Sanborn Park.
