We are so excited to launch a year-long emphasis at Polk Street called “Year of Prayer.”
Our central challenge of 2026 is to become more than a praying church — we want to become a church of prayer.
Throughout the year, we will be offering studies and small groups to help us grow in our understanding and practice of prayer. We also have multiple prayer spaces available throughout the week and on Sundays for individuals and small groups to spend time in prayer.
Each month, we will provide a prayer guide (linked below) to develop daily, weekly, and monthly rhythms of prayer. Each guide will focus on a theme for the month, reflected in a different prayer from Christian history each week. It will also include a weekly calendar with a different prayer focus for each day of the week. We hope you will join us in this year-long initiative as we develop our habits and disciplines of prayer and deepen our faith together.
We will continue our reading of Scripture with our revised daily reading plan that will help you to prayerfully read through 365 essential chapters of the Bible in 2026. You will also find below the calendar some very helpful resources for prayer along with one of our favorite daily devotionals we think you will find enjoyable.
